This report includes a series of fact sheets, providing a quick overview of the nonprofit sector in each of the nine parishes that comprise Central Louisiana- Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Vernon, and Winn. The companion report, Central Louisiana in Focus, shows key demographical and social indicators for the region.
This map represents one of the most comprehensive mapping resources of Central Louisiana nonprofit organizations available to the community. Based on information supplied to the IRS and other local sources, it gives residents and community leaders a visual tool for understanding: who are the nonprofits, where are they located and what is their primary field of service.
