Anecdotal evidence suggests that burnout is very common in our field. Fundraisers, the grassroots organizations we work for, and the social justice movements we’re a part of can’t be truly sustainable unless we’re financially, physically, and emotionally sustainable. When we’re out of balance in taking care of ourselves and each other in these ways, we contradict the other goals of our social justice work.
