About the Report
Research Design
To gain an in-depth understanding of the Central Louisiana Nonprofit sector, a complex data collection system was needed. A variety of data sources were utilized in compiling the Profile of Central Louisiana Nonprofits and its companion report, Central Louisiana in Focus.
Research Focus
The nonprofit sector encompasses a wide range of organizations - from social service agencies, churches, advocacy organizations, and museums, to social clubs and other mutual benefit associations. Comparisons between the Central Louisiana Nonprofit Sector and other regions of the state are presented in the report. Detailed data is offered on each of the nine parishes in the Central Louisiana service area - Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Vernon, and Winn.
Report Summary
The report summary provides a detailed overview of the research focus for the report.
Funding Sources
The report and accompanying fact sheets are made possible through funding provided by The Rapides Foundation.
